គីមឈី 김치 Kimchi: I am to write a book on K-Food

Hello, I’m back! And today, I would like to write this blog post about Korean foods, in particular Kimchi.
Ok, the first thing I was interested to do is to google the keyword ‘Kimchi,’ not only in English, but in its original Korean language ‘김치‘ and in our Khmer language ‘គីមឈី‘. And below are the results:

Google returns its search results with 2M+ for English, 54M+ for Korean and only 175 for Khmer language.

This reflects on the fact that we don’t have much information about Korean foods in Khmer language, and that’s why I am thinking of writing a book on Korean Foods. Moreover, currently I am selected as one of the K-Food supports, a program run by Korean Food Foundation (refer to below poster).

As a starting point for this K-Food Book journey, I am creating my first article in Khmer language ‘គឺមឈី’ at Khmer Wikipedia.
